Conditional Document Requirement Rules are here!
A key piece of feedback we've received from many of you as the first year of our IRS integration (Easy Apply) winds down has been the need to control when families should be required to upload their tax documents, dependent on whether they've consented to sharing their IRS data for your review. The result is our first round of Conditional Document Requirement Rules.
This new feature is located on your
Required Documents
page (found under the
Setup Administration
of your
Dashboard
tab).

Clicking the "Add Rule" button will allow you to: name your rule, select documents to include, and set conditions under which those documents are required.

For now, since it's the most highly requested condition, you'll be able to require a set of documents based on whether IRS consent has been provided by Parent A, Parent B, or a combination of the two. We plan to add other conditions, such as country or business ownership, in the future.

Based on your set document requirements and any corresponding rules, families will only see the documents they need to submit, rather than a blanket set of documents that may or may not apply to them. You'll see an accurate list of document requirements reflected on the individual Student Folder level, as well.
