Parent/Guardian Navigation Updates
We’ve updated the side bar navigation and home page navigation tiles for parent/guardian users to hide items that are not relevant to that user. For example, if a user does not have any current or past Required Documents, they will not see a Required Documents tab on the left side bar or a Required Documents tile on their Home page.
No pages have had permissions changes, so users are still able to directly access module home pages via URL/bookmark. The main goal is to reduce confusion for new users, or users at schools that only use one or two TADS modules, and to keep their experience more clear and focused.

Key details to note:
  • Financial Aid will always have a tile on the home page to start an application, because Financial Aid applications can be started for new schools at any time without requiring a setup code to access it.
  • Admissions will have a broader definition of ‘relevant’ for the user than other modules. Even if the user does not currently have an admissions application, they will still see the Admissions tab if they have any associations to a school (e.g., a previous or pending student enrollment) that has any year currently accepting admissions applications in TADS. This is to ensure that the user can easily apply for new siblings / additional students at their existing schools.
  • Billing will always present the user with an option on their Home page to add a new billing account. This is to ensure that additional household members or 3rd party payers who may have received a setup code from the current account holder can still add the account to make payments. As an example, if both parents have separate logins, one may need to add the billing account after the other creates it. The process to add an account is unchanged, so they will need to get the account’s setup code from the school or from the existing account holder.
  • Billing side bar navigation will only appear if the user has an existing TADS billing account.
  • TADS Enrollment, Agreements, Required Documents, and Required Forms will only appear if the user has existing forms/documents within each of these modules.
Defects and Maintenance:
  • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect date sorting on the Mass Processing batch history reports.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Enrollment > Students list to not show any students for District Owner entities following the Enrollment Custom Contracts release.
  • Updated the Create Account page to show the school logo when a parent uses a setup code to create a new user account. This should apply to ALL parent/guardian accounts created for Admissions, Enrollment, and Tuition Management. Financial Aid allows creating a login without a setup code, so in these cases the user will still see the TADS logo on the Create Account page, instead of a school logo. If the setup code being used to create the account is for a school that does not have a logo saved in TADS, then the user will continue to see the TADS logo on this page.
  • Updated Financial Aid Applications in Progress Sheet and PAF6 for the 2026-27 school year.
